Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 August 2026

These terms cover your use of Showerling — the baby shower website service at showerling.com, operated from Victoria, Australia. By purchasing or using Showerling you agree to them. They're written to be read, not to intimidate.

What you're buying

Your content

Fair use

Showerling is for baby showers and similar celebrations. Don't use it for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful — no scams, harassment, infringing content or attempts to break or overload the service. We can suspend sites that do, and in serious cases without notice.

The AI registry assistant

The “Do it for me” registry drafting suggests real-world products and indicative prices as a starting point. Suggestions and shop links are provided in good faith but retailers change stock and prices — always check before buying. Every item is editable and deletable; the registry is yours, not the AI's.

Refunds & the Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If Showerling has a major failure you're entitled to a refund or to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss; for other failures we'll fix the problem in a reasonable time. Beyond that: if something's not working for you, email us — we're expecting parents ourselves and we'd rather fix it or refund you than leave you stuck a month before your shower.

Availability & liability

We work hard to keep Showerling online, especially on shower days, but no online service can promise 100% uptime. To the extent the law allows (and always subject to your ACL rights above), our liability is capped at the amount you paid us. We're not liable for content guests submit or for third-party sites we link to (like retailers).

Changes to the service or these terms

We improve Showerling continuously and may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new date; changes won't reduce what you've already paid for during your site's 6 months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
