A head start, not a blank page
Starting a registry from nothing is the part most people put off: hundreds of products, no idea what's essential. Tap once and Showerling drafts a list for your baby's first six months, grouped into sleep and bedding, clothes, bath and feeding, toys, books and bigger items.
It's only a draft. You can edit any item, delete what you don't want, change quantities, set how much you'd love each one, and add your own with a link to any shop you like.
Real products from the shops you use
You tick the retailers you actually shop at, such as Baby Bunting, Kmart, Target, John Lewis or Walmart depending on where you live, and the draft is picked from those. Each item links to the real product page, checked when the draft is made, rather than a vague search results page, so a guest taps once and sees the thing.
The one-tap draft is set up for a good number of countries including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the US and Canada. Anywhere else you can still build the registry by hand and link to whichever shops you like.
No doubled-up gifts
Guests open the registry on your website and claim what they'll buy. Once an item is claimed it's marked, and if you've asked for more than one, such as a pack of muslin wraps, it counts down as people claim them. A guest can claim privately if they'd rather the others didn't see who is giving what.
If a guest changes their mind they can release their claim, and it's available to others again.
Keeping track afterwards
Your dashboard shows what's been claimed and by whom, and the day report lists who gave what, which is exactly what you need for thank-you notes.

Does the registry work outside Australia?
Yes. You can build a registry anywhere. The one-tap draft, which picks real products from local shops, covers a good number of countries including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the US and Canada. Elsewhere you add items yourself.
Can guests claim a gift without making an account?
Yes. They open your link, choose a gift and claim it with their name. There's no sign-up.
Can I add products from any shop?
Yes. Add an item with a link to any retailer. The draft is a head start and everything on it is editable.
Do guests buy through Showerling?
No. The gift links go to the retailer's own page and guests buy from the shop directly. Showerling just keeps track of what's been claimed.
Can I try the registry free?
Yes. You can generate and edit your registry free while you build your site. Guests see it when you go live.
